Privacy

Prayer Shelf has no accounts and asks for no personal details.

Stored on your device

Your novena start dates and ticked days, the large-print and theme settings and the reading speed are saved in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device; clearing your browser data removes them.

Read aloud

Read aloud plays audio files hosted with the site when available. Other texts use the speech voice supplied by your browser or device. We do not record your voice.

Calendar reminders

The reminders file is created in your browser and downloaded to your device; it is not sent to us.

Statistics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and which tools are used (for example, that a prayer was printed or a novena started), without names or the text of anything you type. Google Analytics uses cookies and device information. Google signals may associate visits with signed-in Google accounts that have Ads Personalization enabled to provide aggregate demographic and interest reports. You can manage this through your Google account settings.
