St Andrew, brother of St Peter and the first apostle called, is honoured on November 30.
We humbly implore thy Majesty, O Lord, that, as the blessed Apostle Andrew was for thy Church preacher and ruler, so for us he may be with thee an unfailing advocate. Through Jesus Christ, thy Son our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God world without end. Amen.
From the Mass Every Day of the Year: The Roman Missal (1916)
Almighty God, who didst give such grace unto thy holy Apostle Saint Andrew, that he readily obeyed the calling of thy Son Jesus Christ, and followed him without delay; Grant unto us all, that we, being called by thy holy Word, may forthwith give up ourselves obediently to fulfil thy holy commandments; through the same Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
